When a piece of furniture becomes an object of art in burnt wood!

This famous German designer made waves with his furniture collection which has a rather strange name: Smoke.

But what is it about?

Using designer pieces, notably the well-known baroque seat, he carbonizes the wood to “take it to another level”.

Using fire as a working method, he highlights these chairs and makes them unique!

This series was exhibited in 2002 in New York, at the Moss gallery and it was she who helped to make it known! Beyond these qualities of durability, the blackened and cracked appearance ennobles these chairs and gives them character.
